There’s nothing better than enjoying an evening of great food and drinks for a meaningful cause. On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, New York City’s top chefs and mixologists will participate in the 8th annual STREETS Eats, a tasting event to benefit STREETS International—a nonprofit operating as part hospitality school, part restaurant café in Hội An, Vietnam.
Celebrated chefs from all over the city—including PJ Calapa (Ai Fiori), Wylie Dufresne (Alder), Aaron Bludorn (Café Boulud), Leah Cohen (Pig & Khao), and Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow (The Meatball Shop)—will serve their take on Southeast Asian street foods, complemented by an open bar with signature cocktails and scoops of OddFellows beloved Thai Iced Cream. There will also be a live and silent auction to benefit the organization, which helps disadvantaged local youth develop culinary skills and work experience in order to gain financial independence.
